BEING KIND TO YOURSELF

The word for today is KINDNESS and the first person to start with is YOU. Give yourself a day full of being kind to you. This can be in the form of a long soak in the bath, making time to read your favourite book, watching a tv show, treat yourself to time with good friends, notice I said good friends and not just friends, make it someone special where the two of you can nurture each other just by being in each others company or is it that job you've been hankering after and today is the day you apply for it, could you complete a chore you've been putting off for some time? All these actions will help to lift your energy should it be flagging. 
And most of all make today a day when you only say and do anything that's positive, so no negative thoughts, comments, feelings, keep them all positive and you'll be surprised how different you'll feel by the end of the day so that maybe you'll want to do it all again tomorrow.

Meditation - Up up and away

Find a quiet place where you can sit a while without any disturbances. With eyes closed and legs a hip width apart and relaxed hands resting in your lap, we shall begin.

Centre your breath at your heart chakra - breath in, breath out visualising your breath coming in and out from your heart centre noticing how your body feels now it has your breath swirling around every nook and cranny of your entire body. Stay on the breath for a minute or two noticing but not interacting with any emotions, images or words you may hear.

Now see yourself surrounded by a pink bubble and with each breath, you are transported up into the heavens, higher and higher you go until you see a beautiful castle surrounded by the most magnificent stone wall. Nestling in the wall is an iron gate. The time has come for you to step outside of the bubble and open the gate and enter the castle garden, the gate will close naturally behind you. There's a walled garden to your left and a cottage garden to your right. You may if you wish to venture further into either of these gardens where you will find a wooden bench with someone already sitting there waiting for you. Before you join them on the bench you linger a while taking in your surroundings with all of your senses. You feel comfortable and at ease knowing this is a sacred place where no harm will come to you so you decide to join the person sitting on the bench. Are they your guide for today, can you see their face, do you recognise who they are. Take this time to ask your guide a question, it can be anything you would like clarity on. Is it their name or your life purpose. Give yourself space to receive their answer. 
When you feel fulfilled and ready to return thank those in spirit for the continued support they give you each and every day. Spirit is no different and always appreciate our love and thanks.

It's time now to see yourself returning to iron gate which has been opened for you by those in spirit. As you pass through the gate your turn once more to wave goodbye to those in the spirit world before to pull the gate closed and as you turn round you find yourself back in the pink bubble gently and slowly drifting back down to earth until you can feel the seat beneath you. 

At a slow count of 
5
, your senses return back to the room wiggling your toes and pinching your fingers. 

Relax for a moment before getting up and getting on with your day. 

Remember to keep a journal of your adventures and messages while in meditation they are always good to look back on for future reference and clarity of mind.

Meditation - Sanctuary at the Oak Tree

First, find a place where you feel comfortable and will not be disturbed. Sitting is better than lying as you may fall asleep if you do which will mean you'll be resting not meditating.

1 - Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Breathe in for the count of 3 breathe out for the count of 3. Repeat 3 times then allow your breathing to become shallow and relaxed. Letting all the days problems, what you must do or where you need to be to drift away. 

2 - Now see yourself walking down a country lane feeling the sun on your back and the tarmac under your feet. Ahead of you in the hedgerow is a gate. When you arrive at the gate you open it, pass through remembering to close it behind you. As you step out into the field you feel the long grass brushing your ankles.

3 - In the distance, there's a beautiful oak tree so you make your way to the tree and when you arrive you place the palms of your hands on the rough bark feeling the roughness against your soft skin. Now take a few steps around the trunk of the tree until you find a space where you would like to sit awhile. Remember you are safe and secure and no harm will come to you and only if you wish to you can ask if someone would like to join you. When you feel ready to come back give thanks to those in the spirit world and visualise yourself leaving the tree and making your way back to the gate where you accessed the field. Once you are at the gate open it, pass through remembering to close it behind you. And as you once again see yourself walking back down the country lane you can wiggle your toes and pinch your fingers and only when your ready open your eyes. 

I would recommend before getting on with your day you ask for your chakra's to be closed and your aura to be cleaned so you don't pick up any negative energies. Should you feel a little squiffy sip some water to ground you.

This meditation can be shared with a friend or loved one, taking it in turns to lead each of you through the sequence and it's always nice to share experiences too. Also, it's okay to be on your own, so either will work.
