Now, you all know the saying"what you focus on grows" or "you get more of what you focus on" so why oh why are some people focusing on fear and negativity. I'm not one for putting my head in the sand though I have unfollowed those who are living in fear to protect myself from their negative behaviour. Now, we also know there is talk about coming out of lockdown, which is a good thing on one level...what may not be a good thing is how we come out of lockdown will be approached. Will we approach it in a measured way or go for it like a mad person and consume everything in our path. I know I'm not the only person to be enjoying the cleaner air, the birdsong, the peace and quiet of the roads and the connections. I hear voices that were rushed and stressed with all they had to do are now relaxed, warm and loving in a way they had not been before. So we'll have choices to make, do we go back to the life we had or will we look to change what is no longer necessary in our lives. I know which choice I'm going to make and that's one for the good of all.

Because it was raining yesterday I drove my son to the supermarket or should I say chauffeured him there while he sat in the back, social distancing even in the car. While I waited for him to finish our shopping I people watched and what I noticed was the glum faces of the people who were out shopping, the single focus to get to where they were going with not even a brief glance to another person. A smile never killed anyone though it can be more infectious than the COVID-19 virus. There's no doubt this is a scary time and for my son and me we've have had our moment of anxiety until we decided fear was stealing our happiness and with that thought, we changed the way we felt about this virus and we've had so much fun together. Neither of us can imagine what it must be life for anyone who is on their own or living in a property with no outside area to sit in. We send our love and blessings to you for a speedy resolution to this virus.
So how about when you are out o share a smile or two, you never know the more of us infecting people with our smiles could give the planet a chance to heal. Sending love and blessings for your continued good health. Lyn xxx |
